Vascular Access Specialist

Job Description
We are currently seeking to fill multiple full-time and PRN Vascular Access Specialist positions in the Nashville and Memphis regions.  Duties will include insertion and maintenance of peripherally placed central venous, mid-line, peripheral IV catheters.  Will perform PICC line insertion using best practices in varied settings: acute care, skilled nursing, hospice, etc.

Job Requirements
Understanding of proper infection prevention practices, documentation, reporting and excellent communication skills with MD’s, patients, families and nurses.
Education: RN from an accredited Nursing Program or EMT with Paramedic Certification
Licensure/Certifications: Current RN Nursing License or current Paramedic License
American Heart Association BLS
CRNI preferred
Experience: Previous vascular access experience is required for PRN positions
Critical Care experience required
Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
Computer skills preferred

Dispatcher

Franklin, Tennessee

Part time
Evening night and weekend availability

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Dispatcher for our Franklin, TN location. Duties will include dispatching nurses from Lee Medical to meet the vascular access needs of our patients and fulfill our customer expectations. The Dispatcher will triage each referral on an individual basis to provide vascular access service according to the patient need, acuity, severity of illness, and availability of the nurses in the field.
Job Responsibilities

Exceptional professionalism and customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Decision-making ability within established policies and procedures
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ongoing commitment to broadening understanding of clinical terminology

Minimum Requirements
Directly related experience in health care services with 1 year of equivalent-level work experience preferred or at least 2 years of additional work experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed on the job description.
